Our daughter suffered from an eye disorder (Camblyopia) which conventional treatments were unable to correct.  We chose to have an experimental surgery performed which was not covered by insurance.  We needed financial help.  A co-worker told us about the Thin Blue Line of Michigan so we placed a call.  The Case Manager was friendly and courteous.  We were elated to learn, that even though we did meet the criteria, our daughter’s surgery would be financially assisted.  Any organization designed to help in times of need or crisis can’t be anything but valuable.
